With the Headmaster's Holiday in effect it was a no brainer to head over to Carinthia, and stay all day. The guys had been asking for a while when we could double session, and today the guys got their wish. Soft jumps and landings, and a really fun HP. Such a fun day!
Warm temps and a freshly groomed park awaited the four of us this morning. The stoke factor was very high, knowing that we had not only the normal morning time slot, but also the afternoon. It seems that all too often the guys are just getting into the groove and dialing their tricks around 11 or so, just as its time to leave. The extra time today would prove its worth.
Finn got busy on the 1st jump, cleaning up his flat 3's and working on taking them to 5. He would then follow that up with right side spins, trying to add the elusive opp mute grab for extra steeze. He also worked on switch 5's and switch rodeos, lip on to the down rox.
Do I have a goggle gap?
Gideon started off doing big shifty 1's and switch 3's, eventually taking the sw 3 to 5. Blind 2's and 4's off the rails, along with a newly added trick to his repertoire -- switch tails on. Some other highlights included tail presses on the long down rail and 2's out, blind 2's over the flat of the flat down, and in the HP, sick parallel tail 5's + 7's.

Nikita is steadily improving his rail and jumping game, getting more and more comfortable as time goes on. He did his sw 1's and almost got some sw 3's around. He stepped to the down rox today after a little convincing, and got it first try. His HP skiing has improved immensely, airing out on BOTH walls, picking his lines across the pipe and sticking to them.
To round out the day we came back to campus for a little break before heading over to skate/bounce. We refueled and got after it.

Thanks Carol!

Can't all the days be like this? Good job today fellas. We live THE LIFE. Don't forget how good we have it. Can't wait to do it all again tomorrow....
