Another sick day @ Breck! No one seemed to be upset with the weather forecasters inaccuracies - it was sunny and we didn't see a snowflake fall all day.

Unfortunately, Nikita tweaked his knee a little on the trampolines at Woodward yesterday so he took today to rest up. Let's hope he's feeling better for tomorrow's day of Halfpipe training here at Copper.

Today we were blessed with the presence of the one and only Ben Smith, who joined up with us to shred. The name may sound common, but his skiing is not. A Rossignol / Tomahawk / Electric athlete, he recen
tly moved out to summit county to pursue his passion for skiing. What a great addition to our small crew today. Ben and I go back years to when I was coaching
him at Mount Snow Academy. Even as a little guy, Ben was already ripping, and, as you can imagine, has improved tremendously since. He will try to qualify for Dew Tour @
Breck in just over a week. Wish him luck!

Finn did lots more flatspins today, working on popping more off the takeoff, versus slinging the trick. He did some clean 3's and 5's with mute grabs, and even stuck his first upright 7 ever. After lunch Finn did more cork 7's and is cleaning them up and making them look better and b
etter.

Gideon was laying down pretty runs on the 3 jump line, linking tricks with style. He did switch left 5's to rightside 9's to switch 1's. On the rails Gideon did some nice 450's out of the downbar, also off the down flat down bar.

The dudes are ripping!

After another awesome day on the hill we went to Woodward and the guys bounced and worked on their tricks. We followed that up with a dinner trip to Frisco and had an awesome dinner at a little Himalayan restaurant.

Training some Halfpipe here @ Copper tomorrow!
